La XV Conferencia Regional sobre la Mujer de América Latina y el Caribe se llevará a cabo de forma presencial en Buenos Aires del 7 al 11 de noviembre de 2022 y contará con transmisión en vivo. En esta ocasión, la Conferencia debatirá sobre la sociedad del cuidado como horizonte para una recuperación sostenible con igualdad de género.
La Conferencia Regional sobre la Mujer de América Latina y el Caribe es un órgano subsidiario de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) y es el principal foro intergubernamental regional de las Naciones Unidas sobre los derechos de las mujeres y la igualdad de género. Es organizada por la CEPAL, como Secretaría de la Conferencia y, desde 2020, en coordinación con la Entidad de las Naciones Unidas para la Igualdad de Género y el Empoderamiento de las Mujeres (ONU Mujeres).
The XV Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean will be held in-person from 7 to 11 November 2022 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Conference will be broadcast live. On this occasion, the Conference will discuss the care society as a horizon for sustainable recovery with gender equality.
The Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean is a subsidiary body of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and is the main regional intergovernmental forum on women's rights and gender equality within the United Nations system. It is organized by ECLAC as Secretariat of the Conference and, since 2020, with the support of the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN-Women).
