El Consejo Regional de Planificación es el órgano subsidiario de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL) a cargo de la orientación sustantiva de las actividades del Instituto Latinoamericano y del Caribe de Planificación Económica y Social (ILPES), y está integrado por los Ministros u otras autoridades en materia de planificación de los Estados miembros. Sus acuerdos se consignan en resoluciones que se ratifican en los períodos de sesiones de la CEPAL.
The Regional Council for Planning is a subsidiary body of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and governs the activities of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES). The member States of the Institute are represented at the meetings of the Council by their ministers or heads of planning. The agreements of the Council are set forth in resolutions, which are ratified by ECLAC at its biennial sessions.
