Los días 8 y 9 de febrero de 2023 se realizará la Sexagésima Cuarta Reunión de la Mesa Directiva de la Conferencia Regional sobre la Mujer de América Latina y el Caribe, de manera virtual. Durante el encuentro, las delegaciones intercambiarán sobre las acciones previstas para la implementación del Compromiso de Buenos Aires aprobado en la XV Conferencia Regional sobre la Mujer de América Latina y el Caribe (Buenos Aires, 2022). Además, se llevará a cabo la sesión especial de consulta regional previa al 67° periodo de sesiones de la Comisión de la Condición Jurídica y Social de la Mujer de las Naciones Unidas, cuyo tema prioritario será “La innovación y el cambio tecnológico, y la educación en la era digital para lograr la igualdad de género y el empoderamiento de todas las mujeres y las niñas”.

On 8 and 9 February, 2023, the Sixty-fourth meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean will be held in virtual format. During the meeting, delegations will exchange on the actions planned for the implementation of the Buenos Aires Commitment approved at the XV Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean (Buenos Aires, 2022). In addition, a special regional consultation session will be held prior to the sixty-seven session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67), whose priority theme will be “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”.
